Northwood currently leases more than 380,000 square feet
of office space to the State of Florida. The primary tenants are:
- Department
of Business and Professional Regulation
BPR was the first major tenant
to sign on at Northwood after the 1985 renovation. A bid for 136,000
square feet was accepted in 1988 and BPR moved in May, 1989. The
agency currently leases 151,233 square feet at Northwood.
- Department of Children
and Families

DCF (formerly known as the Department of Health and
Rehabilitative Services) also awarded a major bid for 119,054 square
feet to locate at Northwood in 1988. They moved to the Technology
Center in August, 1989. The agency currently leases 170,824
square feet at Northwood including a 44,000 square foot raised floor
computer room.
Department
of Education
DOE's Bureau of Student Financial
Assistance moved to Northwood in November,2000 and lease 46,784 square
feet.
- Department of Revenue
DOR has the Child Support Enforcement Unit located
at Northwood. The unit was formerly part of DCF and was transferred
to DOR. The agency occupies 13,861 square feet.
The Leon County Veterans Affairs office is also located
on the lower level of Northwood Centre.
